If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway for your immediate family or your entire extended family, Big River Escape Riverside Cabins is the place! Our six cabins and 35′ on-site RV sleep a whopping 42 people.
And since we are not only family-friendly but pet-friendly, you can even bring your dogs!
After a day on the river fishing, boating, swimming or kayaking; biking Great River Road; or shopping at all the unique shops in and around the Buffalo City area, you can cook up a family-size feast on one of our gas or charcoal grills, watch a gorgeous sunset, and toast marshmallows around the campfire. Open up the new “Toy Box” located on the south side of the courtyard and play yard games like ladder ball, tic tac toe, Kubb, giant Jenga, and more.
Our six cabins circle a large outdoor patio with chairs and picnic tables—plenty of space for your whole family to dine together.
And because our property is nestled into a mature stand of trees, it will feel like you’re “up north” yet you’ll be minutes away from parks, a public pool, museums, shops, and more. Check out all the things to see and do while visiting Big River Escape with your family. And we rent water toys too – kayaks, a paddle board, a pedal boat, a canoe, and more.

On-Site Amenities
Explore the Mississippi River on your kayak, canoe, or paddle board. Bike a 10-mile trail loop on the Great River Road. Use one of our grills to prepare dinner and eat under the pavilion with a view of the river and the spectacular sunsets, and then toast a stack of s'mores around the campfire.
